Winter Wonder-ful!

The Youth Services Department would like to thank all of our kids and parents who made it out to our second annual Winter Wonderland Festival this Sunday, on December 19. We also want to give a very big thank you to our dedicated and tireless squad of youth volunteers who did a variety of jobs that day, from starring in our puppet shows, to serving snacks, to helping with crafts. It's thanks to them that we can bring you programs like this one, and we hope we bring you many more fun programs to come.

Stay tuned for a selection of photos from the big day. In the meantime, however you are celebrating the holidays, we wish all of our families and friends in Forest Park the very best!

Holiday Karaoke Sing-Along

Holiday Movie Monday

Join us for the second Holiday Movie Monday.  We will be screening the ultimate kid classic Home Alone.  Watch the ingenious Kevin take on some burglars set on stealing Christmas.  Stop by Monday, December 13 at 4 p.m.

Cool New Game for Wii

Are you ready to dance?  Check out this super cool new game at FPPL.  Just Dance Kids has more than 40 fun dances created by real choreographers and includes songs from Yo Gabba Gabba.  Up to four kids can play at once and compete against each other with an easy to navigate menu.  Stop by the library to pick up this fun game or any of our other cool Wii games today!

It's True: Justin Bieber Movie Coming Out in February!

Justin Bieber?  In 3-D?  Well, you will just have to wait until Valentine's Day, but until then check out the trailer for the new movie Never Say Never.  

Join us for a girls only gaming event on Tuesday, December 7 at 4 p.m.  We will be playing Just Dance 2 so bring your best dance moves.  This program is intended for girls over the age of eight years old.  For more information, stop by the YS Desk.

Stop by the library on Mondays for our Holiday Movie Mondays. The first Monday (December 6) will feature the classic The Grinch That Stole Christmas. We will also be decorating cookies.
