The Witches are coming to the Forest Park Library--at least for book club. Next month's Kids Book Club will be exploring the wicked world of Roald Dahl's The Witches.
The book tells the real tale behind witches and the evil they perform. The narrator states early in the first chapter: "In fairy tales witches always wear silly black hats and black cloaks and they ride on broomsticks. But this is not a fairy tale. This is about REAL WITCHES. REAL WITCHES dress in ordinary clothes and look very much like ordinary women. They live in ordinary houses and they work in ordinary jobs. That is why they are so hard to catch."
Read the book and then join us on Wednesday, July 14 for some wicked fun. We will be playing games, discussing the book, eating pizza and watching the movie. Stop by the YS Desk to pick up your copy and register. Or reserve your spot here!
