One Week Until...

School is almost out so that means SUMMER READING is set to start. Starting on Saturday, JUNE 5, you can sign up for Forest Park Public Library's SCARE UP A GOOD BOOK Summer Reading Program. Kids and teens from 0 to 18 are invited to sign up and win prizes for reading this summer. (Adults can sign up for their own program at the Reference Desk!)

And Summer Reading is not just about reading. We have tons of fun, cool and scary programs going in the months of June and July. With Monster Mondays, Creature Features, gaming, story time, a Twilight Movie Party and much more, we will be having a great time this summer.

Stop by the Youth Services Desk to learn more about all the fun you can have at the library this summer.

New Wimpy Kid Book

The fifth installment of Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been announced. The book will be released November 9. The title and plot haven't been released, however, we do know that this book will have a purple cover. Catch up on all Wimpy Kid books at the library and make sure to reserve your copy of the movie in July.

Looking for a Scary Read?

Join us for the Kids Book Club on Wednesday, June 16 at 2 p.m.. We will be discussing the creepy book All the Lovely Bad Ones by Mary Downing Hahn. Stop by the Youth Services Desk to get a copy of the book and sign up. We will be playing games, answering trivia and eating pizza.

Beezus and Ramona: The Movie

Ramona Quimby, one of our favorite mischief makers, is making her way to the big screen this summer. And she is bring her sister Beezus in the form of Disney starlet Selena Gomez.
