I just found a great website developed by PBS on reading and language . It gives parents information about how children (babies through third graders) become readers and writers. It contains a ton of information including literacy quick tips and a bookfinder. Check it out!

Great Local Art Studio for Kids

Everybody had a wonderful time last week when Magical Minds Studio brought their services to the library and made Valentines with a group of lucky kids. Well, I just found out that the founder has a great blog where she shares news about the studio. Check it out...they are doing some amazing things!
